What's on your list of “125 Things We Love About UNT"?

Since UNT’s founding in 1890 as a private college for teachers, we’ve grown into a public research university that ranks as Dallas-Fort Worth’s largest and most comprehensive university and the nation’s 25th largest public university.  Countless people and events helped shape us along the way, and as we observe our 125th anniversary this year, we want to remember and celebrate them.

We would especially like to hear what you would put on a list of “125 Things We Love About UNT”, as well as your memories and thoughts about campus and gather up your favorite photos as we work on a special website and an anniversary issue of the The North Texan alumni magazine this fall. Share your thoughts at

Also, join us as we celebrate UNT’s 125th anniversary with university-wide celebrations centered on these anchor events, including Homecoming Week, which has new dates Oct. 5-10.
