What’s your Top 10 for the 2012-13 academic year?

President V. Lane RawlinsJuly 23, 2013

Dear UNT community,

The start of a new academic year is a great time to take stock of our progress, which is why I love celebrating our Top 10 accomplishments at Fall Convocation each year. The list allows us to reflect on how much we’ve accomplished in a year. And it’s a powerful reminder that we have so much to be proud of as a university and community.

I would like you to submit your picks for the university’s top achievements from the 2012-13 academic year. I encourage you to share your ideas with your supervisors or your faculty or staff representatives. Please submit your ideas by Aug. 7, 2013.

Submissions should be made through:

I will develop a Top 10 list of accomplishments that I will unveil at Fall Convocation 2013 when we officially launch the new academic year.

  • When: 7:45 a.m. continental breakfast with convocation program starting at 8:15 a.m. Sept. 4
  • Where: Gateway Center Ballroom

Our students are lucky to have such dedicated faculty and staff members. I’m proud and honored to work with each of you, and I look forward to celebrating our progress at Fall Convocation 2013.
