We Care We Count campaign total nears $170,000

We Care We Count Faculty and Staff Giving campaign Sundae on Monday partyMay 7, 2012

Dear faculty and staff,

We, the campaign committee, would like to offer our heartfelt thanks to the faculty and staff members who contributed to the annual We Care We Count Faculty and Staff Giving campaign. Above, the campaign kickoff event, Sundae on a Monday, treated employees to ice cream and tasty toppings.

As of May 4, the campaign raised $87,450.69 with a match of $81,999.69 for a total of $169,450.38, with more than $2,400 specifically being raised for the President’s E.D.G.E. program.

To say you have been generous is an understatement.

In fact, so many of you supported the campaign in the final week, which ended May 4, that gifts are still being counted and processed. Final statistics regarding will be shared on the We Care We Count website as soon as possible.

Your individual gifts - to a wide array of programs, academic areas, special initiatives and scholarships - send a powerful message that UNT’s faculty and staff are committed to the university’s mission and vision. Your gifts serve as one acknowledgement that, together, we can achieve great things.

Thank you!

All gifts made through Aug. 31 will be counted in the total number of annual gifts, so there is still time to support an area that matters to you.

With thanks,

The We Care We Count Faculty and Staff Giving Campaign Committee
