Nepalese Student Association raises nearly $13,000

On the behalf of Nepalese Student Association (NSA), UNT we would like to inform you all that we were successful in collecting $5,113.00 at our booth in front of the Willis Library and in some other spots on campus, and  $7,846.00 through our GOFUNDME online account. We truly appreciate you all for your kind donations and support in this difficult time.

 We have been able to provide preliminary support to the earthquake victims because of you all. We are collaborating with Nepal Development Campaign (NDC) volunteers back in Nepal to distribute supplies to the earthquake victims in Nepal. So far we have distributed more than 250 tents, 250 sacks of rice, 250 packets of salt, 50 cartons of  biscuits (100 packets/carton), 50 cartons of noodles (30 packets/carton), 150 packets of frying oils, 250 packets of soaps and other first aid kits to four districts. Our NDC team rescued more than 300 people and did the primary treatment.  We are glad to share you that how our NDC volunteers are helping the needy peoples in remote villages.
