UNT International calls for nominations for service to international education

The Global Affairs Committee has issued a call for nominations for the 2012 Citation for Distinguished Service to International Education. This award is the highest honor recognizing excellence in internationalizing the campus, curriculum, and UNT as a whole. 

The award was established in 1985 and recipients include a host of distinguished professionals from across the university.  Recent winners include:

  • Dee Knight, associate professor of merchandising, College of Merchandising, Hospitality and Tourism, cited for her years of service as a developer and leader of Asian study abroad programs
  • Sue Bratton, director and associate professor, and Garry Landreth, founder and Regents Professor, both of the Center for Play Therapy, recognized for the world-reknowned program they have developed and manage.
