Union helps students prepare for finals with two events

Study areas in the University Union. We know finals are approaching - and fast. That’s why the University Union is offering two services to help students of all types survive final exams. Above, union study areas.

UNT's biggest blowout event, Eagle Insomnia, will be from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. Dec. 8, the last class day of the fall semester. This year we will be featuring a magician, massage therapists, free food, games and a late night movie to help students celebrate the end of yet another semester here at UNT.

Anyone faced with the rigor of final exams may come for Study Nights at the Union from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Dec. 12-15 to enjoy free snacks and refreshments. We’ll also be offering free Scantrons, pencils and other goodies that might help you be successful on your finals.

This is the third semester that the union has offered Study Nights at the Union, and we it is the hope that this will provide support for students in their academic endeavors. Extra seating will be made available during finals week.

Commencement ceremonies will be Dec. 16-17.
