Transportation agency invites comments about schedules, services

Denton County Transportation Authority (DCTA) customers will have an opportunity to hear the agency’s plans for service improvements during a series of public meetings in September.

  • UNT will host one meeting at noon Sept. 5 in the University Union, Room 413.

The meetings are open to anyone who lives, works or goes to school in Denton County and wants to provide additional feedback for consideration during the planning of the January 2013 service changes.

DCTA is looking ahead for ways to further improve their transportation services including the UNT Shuttle, Connect bus service and the A-train.

The recommended changes being presented are aligned with DCTA’s service plan and took into consideration; operational and financial constraints and community feedback.
