Texas Rangers offer UNT discounted tickets

Texas Rangers

With spring training in full swing, UNT baseball fans can start buying tickets for the 2016 Texas Rangers season March 4 — at discounted prices.

In order to make it easier for faculty and staff to buy tickets, the Rangers this year will use discount codes on the regular ticket webpage instead of requiring fans to go to a specific page and enter the discount code. When buying tickets, fans will simply pick the game they want to attend and enter the coupon code in the top right corner.

UNT’s code for the 2016 season is “MeanGreen.”

The Rangers also will hold Mean Green Night as one of its University Days May 27 when the Pittsburgh Pirates come to Globe Life Park in Arlington. Those who purchase tickets before March 20 will be guaranteed a UNT-themed Rangers baseball cap. University Days is a partnership between the Rangers and FOX Sports Southwest, which promotes universities in Texas and Oklahoma.

Don’t forget to wear green and show some Mean Green pride.
