Take your family and friends out to the ballgame

The university, with about 2,600 staff and 1,500 faculty members, generates about $1.3 billion in recurring economic activity in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, the sixth largest metropolitan area in the United States. Alumni household spending impacts the region by more than $10 billion each year.

Armed with those powerful statistics, the Staff Council provides a Perks Program that offers such items as discounted tickets to Texas Rangers baseball and Dallas Mavericks basketball games, employee pricing at a local car dealership, auto maintenance, travel , flower delivery and extermination services.
