Staff Senate launches annual survey

The UNT Staff Senate is charged with representing over 2,300 staff members who help make our university a diverse and engaging academic institution. The UNT Staff Senate is a group of full-time, benefits-eligible staff members who were nominated and elected by their peers to advocate for staff concerns. Staff Senate members discuss policy and procedure changes with administrators, sit as staff representatives on campus committees, serve as resources for staff related issues, and are the voice for the staff members at UNT. To understand the needs and sentiments of our staff, the Employee Relations Subcommittee developed a survey to collect information once a year from the staff at UNT.

The survey was sent by email to eligible staff members May 7, and it will remain open until May 22. The surveys should take about five minutes.
The responses will help the Staff Senate determine the pressing issues and concerns for staff members across campus. All responses will be reviewed at the campus and division levels but not at the individual or department levels, to protect the privacy of those who respond.

Questions: Contact Lori Belew, chair of the Staff Senate's Employee Relations Subcommittee, at 940-565-2142.
