Sept. 14 football game features big announcement

ScrappyThe Sept. 14 Mean Green football team home game will feature a big announcement. The theme for the Homecoming game, Nov. 4-9, will be revealed.

The Mean Green will face Ball State University at 3 p.m. at Apogee Stadium. The game will be televised on Fox Sports.

The team lost to Ohio University 27-21 Sept. 7, giving it a 1-1 record for the season.

  • Enter to win a family pack, which includes four tickets and food and drink, to the Sept. 14 game against Ball State University by sending an email to InHouse with "Ball State" in the subject line, by 5 p.m. Sept. 11.
  • Enter to win a spirit pack, complete with UNT-branded water bottle, shopping bag, T-shirt, poster and lapel pin, by sending an email to InHouse with "Football" in the subject line by 5 p.m. Sept. 13.
  • Winners for all prizes will be selected at random from all responses.

Mean Green PrideGet in the spirit of the game by wearing your green for Mean Green Pride Day. If you post a picture of yourself on InstaGram or Twitter using the hashtag #UNTPRIDE, you will be eligible to win one of three gift cards from local merchants.

It will be the only home game until Oct. 12.

  • 2:30 p.m. Nov. 23 – UT San Antonio

Game day parking is available on the west and north side of the stadium, the green and red/blue lots and across the pedestrian bridge by Fouts Field in the orange lot.
