Records management offers new website, training

Jan. 19, 2016

Get your records in gear for the New Year!

Welcome back to campus. The Institutional Records Management Program has a few important updates to help you prepare for a productive 2016.

  • We have an updated Institutional Records Management Program website! Check it out at
  • All units, please go to the “RMRs” tab on the website to either designate or confirm your unit’s records management representatives (RMRs). There should be a primary and an alternate RMR designated for every unit.
  • We also want to remind you that all records management representatives (RMRs) must take the MANDATORY Introduction to Records Management training course. If you are the designated RMR for your unit, the records management website has available dates posted. Visit to register for trainings.
  • Other records management training opportunities will be available at a later date.

And please welcome our new director of institutional records management, Kari Eagerton. Kari previously worked at Healthport Technologies for more than eight years as a release of information specialist and was the lead trainer for her area. While with Healthport Technologies, she was responsible for the release of information for records requests in more than 20 medical facilities. We are very excited to have her in the UNT family.

If you have any questions about records management or training, please contact us.

Thank you for supporting the Institutional Records Management Program!
