Libraries' Food for Fines supports local group

The Willis Library Access Services Department is holding its Fall 2012 Food for Fines event.

A dollar will be deducted from your fines for each un-dented, non-expired canned good larger than 12 ounces that is brought to the Library Services Desk in Willis Library. Bring in canned goods and reduce the total amount of fines owed by a maximum of $20.

All canned goods go to Denton County Friends of the Family. The organization helps families and victims of domestic violence and sexual assault to live a life free of fear and abuse.

Please help out your community and save money by bringing in canned items to the Willis Library Access Services Desk from Nov. 26 through Dec. 14.

Please contact the Fines Desk if you have any questions ( 940-565-2414).

Thank you for making a difference in other people’s lives.

- Bethany Hardikar, Library Services Desk Supervisor
