Hartman created a quilt design, below, with images of winter – such as gifts and snowflakes – and iconic symbols of UNT – including the windmills at UNT's Apogee Stadium, the Hurley Administration Building and the circle design for “A green light to greatness.”

Hartman’s design was distributed primarily through email and is featured on the president's website and on the University of North Texas YouTube channel.

The card was sent to faculty, staff, students, alumni, donors and friends, as well as institutional peers, external stakeholders, and local and state leaders. It will be sent the week of Dec. 10.2012 Holiday Card
