Honoring volunteerism

Elizabeth With

Dear UNT community,

As the university for North Texas, UNT is engaged with communities in the North Texas region through service, partnerships and collaborations. As a member of the UNT community, when you volunteer you are impacting people’s lives and the economic, educational, social and cultural welfare of this region. You are making North Texas communities stronger and embodying the best of UNT. We would like to thank you for your contributions.

The university wants to acknowledge UNT members who provide service in our communities while getting a better sense of the many ways you serve. We are launching a volunteer recognition initiative to support UNT’s culture of engagement. UNT community members who volunteer will be recognized as part of the UNT President’s Community Engagement Volunteer Honor Roll.

The first step is to learn about your community engagement and service. Please take about two to four minutes to complete the Community Engagement Volunteer Recognition form and tell us about your good work. Please respond by Nov. 30, 2013.

No information collected from the form will be shared without your consent. The data collected will not be reported specifically by individual responses. You may select if you want your name listed as part of the UNT President’s Community Engagement Volunteer Honor Roll.

If you have questions about filling out the form, please contact Judy Sternberg at

Thank you for your commitment to serving North Texas communities as a member of the UNT family.
