Help those in need through SECC

Oct. 2, 2014

Dear UNT faculty and staff,

Generosity is a big part of UNT's caring culture, and we have the opportunity to spread our generosity beyond the UNT community through the State Employee Charitable Campaign that runs through October.

UNT has set a goal of surpassing last year’s campaign, in which we raised about $226,000 with a 38 percent participation rate. We'd love to see a high participation rate. It doesn't matter how much you give — any amount can make a difference for those in need. You can learn more in InHouse.

The state makes it as easy as possible to give to the organization of your choice.

  • You can donate to more than 400 local, state and national organizations.
  • You can be assured that your money goes to legitimate, regularly audited nonprofits.
  • You can donate as a payroll deduction or a one-time gift.
  • You should have received a printed letter about the SECC with a packet attached. These were distributed to everyone on campus this week. Please complete the information and return the packet either by campus mail or in person to: SECC: Student Accounting/University Cashiering Services in the Eagle Student Services Center, Office 105.
