Get free goodies—sport green for Mean Green Pride Days

football watching partyGreen Pride 2014Just in time for the start of the fall football season, UNT launched its new Mean Green Pride campaign to celebrate the university’s tradition of wearing green on Fridays.

To put our best green foot forward, all faculty and staff need to get in on the action and show your school colors. You also should encourage students and alumni all around the world to sport their green, too.

Here’s how you can join in the fun:

Do. Celebrate this long standing tradition by wearing green or any UNT-Mean Green branded gear on Fridays. Whether you’re headed to class in the BLB or chilling on a beach in Thailand, grab your green and share some of that awesome UNT flair.

Win. Get green and get social each week for a chance to win a UNT spirit pack. Tag photos of yourself showing off your UNT pride and wearing green on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook. Use hashtag #meangreenfriday. One lucky winner will be selected each week.

Free.  Everyone loves free stuff, right? Enter to win a spirit pack, including a T-shirt, a UNT-branded water bottle, tote bag, pens and other gear. Send an email to InHouse with “Green Pride” in the subject line by 5 p.m. Sept. 5. Winners will be chosen at random from all responses. Watch InHouse all year for more giveaways so you can win shirts and other green gear.

Follow. Check out the Mean Green Pride website to see our weekly social media winners and learn about discounts for wearing green. Follow UNT social media on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram to stay up to date on giveaways and Mean Green Pride events.
