Staff Council members, from left, Indra Bhagat, Jennifer Lee, Chris Foster and Rose Preston.

The Staff Council knows that everyone loves a bargain. Employees now can take advantage of hundreds of discounts from national and local businesses through a new partnership with PerkSpot.

PerkSpot is a national service that provides discount and buying programs for organizations of all types. The Staff Council and its Compensation and Benefits committee negotiated the addition of PerkSpot to employee perks.

  • Learn more about PerkSpot, enroll as a UNT employee.

PerkSpot offers various discounts, rebates, deals, and savings on apparel, automotive, books, computers, electronics, food, concert tickets, hotels, car rentals and travel on many of the best known stores and brand names in the U.S. - online and off, nationally and locally. Discounts and deals are updated daily.

PerkSpot membership is available to employees of UNT and the UNT System.

The Perks Page on the Staff Council website is set to automatically redirect to the UNT PerkSpot logon.

  • All existing local perks are available in PerkSpot. The list of perks previously on the site is now on Perk Spot.
  • Employees can create a personal account with PerkSpot. The logon information should not be their EUID username or password. Use a personal email, and, of course, don't shop at work.
  • Questions about PerkSpot should be emailed to
