Financial aid code of conduct can affect many employees

The attached University of North Texas Code of Conduct for Financial Aid Professionals applies specifically to:

  • All officers or employees of the University of North Texas who are employed in the Office of Student Financial Aid and Scholarships;
  • All officers or employees of the University of North Texas who otherwise have responsibilities with respect to educational loans; and
  • All agents of the University of North Texas who have responsibilities with respect to educational loans.

The code of conduct governs all employees responsible for educational loans according to federal regulations. Even if you are not in the Student Financial Aid and Scholarship office, you may find yourself in a position to impact decisions in regard to educational loans. Employees are required to be notified annually of the institution’s code of conduct. The code of conduct is also posted on Student Financial Aid and Scholarship’s website:
