Feedback sought on campus commuting

UNT Sustainability is conducting a survey to better understand the commuting behavior of faculty, staff and students.

The organization also hopes to learn how to improve the commute to and around campus, and movethe campus toward the goal of reaching carbon neutrality by 2040.

Since signing the American Colleges and University President’s Climate Commitment in 2008, UNT is required to complete a Greenhouse Gas Emissions Inventory. This survey will also assist UNT Sustainability in completing the GHG Emissions Inventory. There are no specific goals for reaching carbon neutrality associated with commuting at this time.

Participants in the survey can offer their input about what types of alternative commuting programs they would like to see the campus adopt. The survey should take no longer than five  minutes. It will remain available through the spring semester.

Participants will be eligible to receive prizes from two random drawings—one to be held during Earth Week April 21-25 and the other at the end of the semester. In all, the office will give away two Trek Road Bikes and four Kindle Fire HDXs.
