Faculty and Staff giving efforts support student success, build pride

RAwlinsToday marks the official kick-off of our 2011 We Care … WE COUNT Faculty and Staff Annual Giving Campaign. I want to thank you for the many ways you already contribute to the success of UNT through your hard work and dedication to our most important charge - educating students.

As you think about your role at UNT, how you help us advance our goals, and what UNT means to you, I hope you will consider joining your colleagues in supporting UNT with a gift this year. A gift to UNT is one of the most powerful ways that each of us can make UNT stronger.

There are endless reasons to make a gift - and throughout the campaign, you’ll see many of your colleagues profiled in our communication pieces as they share their own reasons for supporting UNT. You’ll also meet some of the many outstanding students who are positively impacted by your support.

As you read these stories, I encourage you to reflect on the areas within UNT that are meaningful to you and need your support. I am confident that participating in this campaign will instill a sense of pride in you, regardless of the amount of your gift, because every contribution makes a difference, and each person strengthens our community.

We Care WE COUNT logoWhen you receive your packet in your campus mailbox today, I hope you’ll review it thoughtfully and choose to return the enclosed reply card with a gift to UNT.

You can also visit the Faculty/Staff Giving website to meet some of our proud UNT students, learn more about our campus community, get information about the campaign, and find information about your giving options.

Again, thank you for being the foundation and the heart of this university!
