Eighth annual HUB vendor fair scheduled April 7

The eighth consecutive Historically Underutilized Businesses vendors fair will be sponsored by Purchasing and Payment Services. The fair will be from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. April 7 in the University Union, Silver Eagle Suite.

Vendors from varied industries will be on hand to visit with university staff and faculty members about the goods and services they represent. Vendors offer such products and services as office supplies to utility vehicles, food service equipment and green cleaning products, and are eager to visit about departmental needs and how they can be of service.

Additionally, vendors with the Texas Industries for the Blind and Handicapped will be on hand this year to meet with you and showcase their products. These vendors will be located in the University Union, Golden Eagle Suite.

A historically underutilized business meets these state requirements:

  • 51 percent owned by an Asian Pacific American, Black American, Hispanic American, Native American and/or American woman,
  • has its principal place of business in Texas
  • has an owner residing in Texas with a proportionate interest that actively participates in control, operations and management.
