Eat hearty to help damaged school

Kappa Delta Pi

The Alpha Iota Chapter of Kappa Delta Pi International Honor Society invites you to eat hearty so that we may send funds to our adopted school in Hualqui, Chile, a semi-rural school near the city of Concepcion, devastated by an earthquake in February

Chili's Restaurant will donate 10 percent of the cost of your meal to our fundraising efforts.

When:  Thursday, Oct. 21 from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Where:  Denton - Chili's Restaurant, 2406 I35-E South (Going south toward Dallas, take the Loop 288 - Lillian Miller Parkway exit and stay straight on access road through the traffic light. It's on the right.)

Our adopted sister school is the Escuela Básica Manuel Amat y Juniet.  Their principal is Selva Eugenia Flores Medina. The school has 602 students from pre-kindergarten through eighth grade. The Feb. 27 earthquake damaged the building and resulted in loss of equipment, including computers, plus supplies and books.
