Celebrate scholarship, research during Graduate Student Appreciation Week

Graduate Student Week continues through April 5 with these events:

April 3, noon to 2 p.m. - Meet and Greet the Graduate Student Council president and vice presidents, University Union, Golden Eagle Suite

April 4, noon-1:30 p.m. - free barbecue lunch hosted by the Graduate Student Council, Business Leadership Building lawn

April 5, 8 a.m-9:30 p.m., Graduate School Open House, Eagle Student Services Center, third floor; meet Dean Mark Wardell, enjoy free coffee, bagels and fruit, and become eligible for an iPad and $500 travel voucher give away.

National Graduate Student Appreciation Week seeks to emphasize the contributions, impact and value of graduate and professional students on campuses throughout the United States.

UNT is proud of our nearly 6,700 graduate students and have activities that all graduate students can participate in. Take a moment to thank a graduate student during this week.
