Brown bag luncheon to feature discussion of online security

University Information Services and Accreditation is holding the first of a series of brown bag luncheons from noon-1p.m. Dec. 18 in the Gateway Center room 35.

There will be a presentation by Administration Information Technology Services staff members Abraham John, Jason McMullen, Chris Stoermer and Christopher Horiates. The presentation will discuss ways to enhance IT transactions and security in your office and everyday lives, including topics such as phishing, data hostage situations, online credit card transactions and determining if a request for donations is from a legitimate organization.

Water and tea will be provided.
