Be sure you are in the loop: Update your Eagle Alert contact numbers

Eagle Alert logoDon't forget to update your contact information for Eagle Alert, the university's emergency notification system.

Eagle Alert is a service provided by UNT that sends phone calls and text messages to the campus community in the event of an emergency.

All students and employees are automatically enrolled in the system during the registration or hiring process. You should check your contact information regularly and update it anytime it changes by logging in at and clicking on “Update Eagle Alert.

To be notified about severe weather in the North Texas area, sign up for the city of Denton's Code Red, and monitor news media reports and National Weather Service bulletins.

The university does not send severe weather alerts, but if weather affects safety and operations on campus, Eagle Alert may be utilized.
