The UNT System Board of Regents named Ronald T. Brown, Ph.D., president of the University of North Texas at Dallas, effective July 1, 2013. Dr. Brown was named sole finalist for the presidency at a previous meeting.

Anne Milner Fields and her great nephew and alumnus Bryan Milner have pledged $1 million to the College of Business to endow scholarships for study abroad. The gift also is a tribute to former finance professor Peyton Foster Roden.
