The 2015 Homecoming theme, “Forever Mean Green: A Journey Through Time,” was revealed Aug. 3 by Student Activities via social media at 1:25 p.m. to tie in with celebrating UNT’s 125th anniversary.

Homecoming is planned for Oct. 4-10 when the university community celebrates 125 years of UNT’s history, traditions and achievements.

Events will kick off Oct. 4 concluding with Oct. 10 tailgating where UNT will take on non-conference opponent, Portland State, at Apogee Stadium.

  • Tickets go on sale Aug. 18 and can be bought online or by phone at 940-565-2527.

Want to plan an event for Homecoming? Campus departments, registered student organizations and other university groups can fill out this form by Aug. 28 to submit the events for publicity on the Homecoming website.

Keeping up with the Mean Green all season

UNT opens its season Sept. 12 against regional rival, Southern Methodist University, at Gerald J. Ford Stadium in Dallas.

For the 2015 season, the Mean Green will play five home games beginning Sept. 19 when the Rice Owls come to Denton in a Conference USA showdown.
